Looking for the perfect venue in Washington for your wedding? Here are my top five favorites!
Lairmont Manor is one of my absolute favorite wedding venues in all of Washington. The manor, a historic house built in 1914, is one that has been transported from the idyllic Italian countryside to the heart of Bellingham. This beautiful venue features an array of plants and flowers that POP in the summer months, a large backspace near the fountain that is ideal for ceremonies, multiple little nooks for outdoor seating, cocktail hour, and your reception as well an indoor space that is perfect for dancing the night away. It can accommodate from the smallest of intimate celebrations to a full wedding with 200 of your friends and family. The best part? The venue has an excellent venue coordinator and staff that are attentive, and helpful and will do everything in their power to make it a memorable experience for you and your guests. From the breathtaking architecture to the impeccable service, Lairmont Manor provides the perfect setting for couples who are looking for a timeless and sophisticated wedding venue.
Looking for someplace out of the city but still close by the Seattle area? Chateau Lill is a gem of a venue located in the middle of wine country in Woodville and surrounded by a beautiful trees and a vineyard. Whether you are getting married outdoors or indoors, Chateau Lill has a unique space for both. Inside is the grand ballroom that can accommodate up to 200 guests and is beautifully decorated with chandeliers, elegant drapery, and stunning artwork. If outside is more of what you are looking for, the property features a large lawn space for ceremonies and a tent-covered patio that is perfect for intimate receptions under the stars. There are even little hidden nooks around the grounds for private portraits, like the gazebo, dock and little bridge.
Nestled in the heart of Skagit Valley in Mount Vernon, Washington, Christianson Nursery is a charming and unique wedding venue that offers a picturesque setting for couples looking for a botanical-inspired celebration amongst a lush garden. The venue features an abundance of blooming flowers, shrubs, and trees that create a beautiful and natural backdrop for outdoor ceremonies and receptions. The Nursery also offers two indoor reception spaces; one in the form of a quaint schoolhouse (which was built in 1888!) and their historic greenhouse, complete with floor to ceiling windows for natural lighting and antique features that create a rustic charm atmosphere. From the english rose garden, to the plant-filled greenhouse, this venue is every bride’s dream for a venue that is full of poetic romance.
Newcastle Golf Club is another venue that is close to the surrounding Seattle area and it’s main feature is a sweeping view of the surrounding landscape, including the Seattle skyline and Lake Washington, that glows with brilliant gold light during summer sunsets. The Club offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception spaces, including a ballroom that can accommodate both intimate and large-scale weddings as well as various getting ready suites convenient for the couple.
Looking for something closer to the water? The Admirals House is the place for you! This historic wedding venue is situated on a hill overlooking the Puget Sound and surrounded by a secluded garden and rolling lawns, making this the ideal location for your outdoor summer ceremonies and receptions. The national landmark house, once formally used to entertain government and royal guests, was beautifully restored to it’s former glory for weddings of all shapes and sizes, accommodating up to guests. For the PNW-lovers, this is the venue for you!
