I am a seeker of light and a true romantic at heart. I adore getting to know people through my lens, turning my clients lives into a narrative that will be handed down from generation to generation. I truly believe that a photograph transcends time, shaping the way our story is told. When the moment is long past, you can always remember the sights, sounds and feelings of that day through the images.
I began capturing images on film at the age of 10 when I was given a small camera from my grandpa on Christmas morning. Although I had no knowledge of cameras, my family have always documented our special moments either on film or VHS. From the moment I held that camera in my hand, I knew I could observe the beauty in the world, and the people around me and capture it to keep forever.
Whenever I pick up my camera, I strive to create beautiful and emotional images that evoke a feeling of a fleeting moment - the beauty of both the people in the images and the world around them.
Even with its ups and downs, your life, your story, are beautiful and I can't wait to create images to show that! My love for photography has brought me everywhere from the beaches of Hawaii to the canals of Venice, Italy. But regardless of where I travel, the fresh air and vibrant greens of Washington will always call me home.
When I look back at that image I remember not just what it looked like, but what it felt like in that moment to be in his arms looking at my new husband, feeling like no one else was in the room.
My passion for photography stems from the ability to capture moments like this. I love how utterly timeless an image can be. A great photograph doesn’t just freeze a moment in time, it creates a memory.

"Always kind, punctual, organized, and willing to do whatever it takes to capture the essence of the individuals in the most beautiful way. It's clear that Kerry loves what she does and is fueled by a special passion for romance and preserving special moments in a timeless way."
Nothing warms me up faster on a chilly afternoon than a warm cup of coffee by the fireplace. Throw in a few friends & some homemade blueberry lemon cake and you have the ingredients for a perfect day.
Before film, there were flowers and an abundant amount of them in every shade and shape. When I'm not editing on the computer, you can find me scouting out fields of fragrant petals or tending to my own little garden.
New isn't always better. I'm a huge fan of spending hours in the afternoon browsing the many antique shops around me for timeless pieces with secret stories. My favorite find has been Parisian opera glasses from the 1900s!
In 2005 at the impressionable age of 15, I sat down with my mom to watch Pride & Prejudice for the first time and was swept away by the costumes, superb acting and cinematic beauty. The soundtrack continues to inspire me daily!
The Lord of the Rings & Star Wars were introduced to me at a very young age and now it's become a favorite past time of mine to re-watch the movies and re-read the books.
My super power? The Lord of the Rings trivia.
One of my favorite things to do when I was a kid was spending hours pouring over old photo boxes in the attic. Still now, I am drawn to timeless moments and heirloom photographs.
The most romantic thing to me is the idea of passing a photo of a treasured moment down through generations. I specialize in creating these timeless moments with you, capturing every thoughtful detail and giving you a beautiful, physical record of your happiest day that you can share for lifetimes to come.
